Rev. Janis K. Doleschal is a Wisconsin native, has lived in the metropolitan Milwaukee area her entire life and has served at various UCC churches for the last forty years. While her Master of Divinity Degree is from Trinity Theological Seminary, she also has a Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Arts degree and an advanced law degree. You may recognize her name from the twenty-eight years she served the Milwaukee Public Schools as the Commissioner of Sports and Athletics.
Her theological approach is very progressive and she especially enjoys the teaching and preaching aspect of ministry. Pastor Jan believes that the people in the pew deserve to know about the latest theological approaches and puts them into understandable language in her sermons. She believes that faith is not a static thing and that only if we are challenged to think about our faith can we grow in our faith.
