Dear St. John Family,
All of the Sundays in June will be special days for us. On June 1st, we will be honoring our Christian Education Staff, observe communion, and then enjoy ice cream sundaes during the fellowship hour.
On June 8th, our special guest vocalist and speaker will be Rev. John Schindler. John has returned from a mission trip to Africa, so he will have a lot to share.
June 15th is Father's Day, and we will be recognizing all of the men at our church. It will be a great opportunity to honor our men who are such an important part of our lives and church.
On June 22nd, I will be installed as the pastor of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ. The installation will be during the 10:15 am service with a reception following. I would love to have a good group of St. John members participate in the service.
On June 29th, our friend, Bontha will be with us again. He was last here on Sunday, August 6, 2006. During his visit with us he will be sharing about the various ministries that he is involved in. Hopefully, we can add Bontha to our missions we sponsor.
I hope you will plan to be here for all of these special Sundays. I know you will enjoy these activities and you will grow in your faith.
