Antique & Flea Market Exhibitor Information
The Craft Fair Committee is excited to announce plans for our 23rd anniversary!
Here is a summary of everything that takes place on the second Saturday in September.
Throughout the year, we advertise for exhibitors who set up booths on the parking lot, the lawn and the fellowship hall in the church. They sell a wide variety of Arts and Craft items. Our booth prices are very reasonable so if you know someone who might like to exhibit, please let Mary Ann Toth know. There is also a link to download the application and seller’s permit on the website.
In 2007, we added a new type of event – antiques and flea market vendors. These booths are also outside, but kept separate from the Art & Craft booths.
The fellowship hall sees lots of action on Craft Fair day! It is where attendees can buy raffle tickets for the Adult and Children’s raffles. We have a special raffle for Theme Baskets as well. (We encourage all members and the various church committees to create a Theme Basket.) The fellowship hall also houses the Silent Auction and the kitchen is open with food and refreshments for purchase. In the back room, our ever popular Bake Sale is held.
Outside, we offer Children’s Games and we have our own Craft Booth where we sell items made by our church members.
In addition to organizing these events, we have committee members who work behind the scenes, coordinating booth sales, handling advertising, getting posters and signs made and hung up around town, etc., etc.
So you can see there are lots of ways to help out even if you aren’t “artsy/craftsy”! One thing you can do all year long is watch for items on the sale and clearance racks. Donated items for our raffles, silent auction and children’s games help keep our expenses down.
Another area we could use your help is promoting our Quilt Raffle. We are fortunate that Shelly Zodrow donated a beautiful handmade queen size quilt and we are looking for ways to promote the raffle to the community. (We can start selling raffle tickets in March, with the drawing taking place at the Fair.) Any suggestions on getting the word out in the community are welcomed!
