The purpose of the Women's Guild is to unite all the women of the congregation to promote the total program of the local church and to unite all the women of the church in Christian Fellowship. With divine help and guidance, we will develop an understanding of the work of the entire church, deepen the spiritual life, stimulate sacrificial giving and promote Christian service in the home, the local church, the denomination, the community, the nation and the world.
Some of the ways we accomplish this:
- Provide communion bread
- Provide bread and jelly for new members
- Make baptismal hankies
- Provide a Lenten meal
- Coordinate and prepare the Easter Breakfast
- Serve refreshments as requested by members, i.e.
funerals
- Prepare Thanksgiving Baskets for shut ins
- Prepare Valentines for Sunday School children
- Coordinate all-church cleaning days
- Coordinate Women's Sunday
- Sponsor a Christmas Cookie Sale
- Provide camp scholarships for our youth
- Provide a theme basket for the church Fall Craft Fair
- Serve Sunday morning Fellowship
- Host an annual Christmas party

Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of
each month (except during Lent, then on the first
Tuesday) September through June. Meetings start at
7:00pm with devotions, coffee and dessert, program and
business meeting.
