Council Highlights for September 2009

At its monthly meeting held on September 10th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Earmarked the earnings from our Roundy’s coupon fundraiser as follows:
    • $ 400.00 Mission Alive
    • $1500.00 Parsonage Property Landscaping Fund
    • $ 500.00 SportsLife Camp
    • $1000.00 Christian Education/Youth Group
    • $ 600.00 Parking Lot Repairs
  • Set Sunday, November 8th at 6:00 pm for the Annual Board of Trustees meeting
  • Approved a motion to recommend to the congregation the expenditure up to $2,400.00 for parking lot repairs at a specially called meeting on September 20th immediately after the worship service
  • Approved a request from Girl Scout Troop 2004 to use our fellowship hall on the first Thursday of each month from November through April at 6:00-7:30 pm for their meetings
  • Approved a request from Youth for Understanding to use our fellowship hall on Saturday, October 3rd at 12:30-6:00 pm for their meeting
