Council Highlights for October 2009

Present: Karen Becker, Cherie Bersch, Eric Hillstrom, Mary Johnson, Bob Lehmann, Pastor Matheny, Mike Szymik, Mary Ann Toth and Dick Wallander

At its monthly meeting held on October 8th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Recommended a change in St. John By-Law 32 that would increase the congregational meeting expenditure requirement from $1,000 to $2,000
  • Approved vacation date requests from Pastor Matheny for October 11-20 and November 2-9.
  • Approved a motion to accept Andy and Betty Boneski as new members during the worship service on November 1st.
  • Approved a request from the Preserve subdivision to hold their annual meeting in our fellowship hall on November 11th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm.
