- Finalized plans for Advent and Christmas activities. This includes a Christmas Eve service at St. John at 5:00 pm. There will also be a 7:00 pm. service at Our Saviour’s on that evening. Our Saviour’s is also having a Christmas Day service at 9:00 am.
- Set our Annual Meeting date for January 25, 2009 immediately after the worship service.
- Authorized $800 from the Craft Fair donation to go to the Mission Alive program. This represents 10% of the Craft Fair proceeds.
- Approved a request for the Toth/Kenney wedding to be held on December 5th at 3:00 pm. This approval is pending the submission of the completed request form and payment of fees.
Next Council meeting December 11, 2008
We are still in need on several more individuals who are interested and willing to serve as Sunday School teachers. The response to our previous requests has been very gratifying, and we currently have 10 Sunday School teachers. If you are willing to step forward and help out with this most important expression of Christian stewardship, we will have a full complement of committed teachers who will be called upon for only 4 or 5 weeks in the fall and spring. Please contact Connie Ellingson and let her know that you would like to make a contribution of your time to our Christian Education program.
