Council Highlights for May 2010

Present: Karen Becker, Cherie Bersch, Eric Hillstrom, Mary Johnson, Bob Lehmann, Pastor Matheny, Jay Schaetzel, and Mary Ann Toth

Absent: Mike Szymik and Dick Wallander

At its monthly meeting held on May 13th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Authorized the purchase of the Sunday School curriculum for 2010-2011
  • Received a report that our request for tax-exempt status on the parsonage property had been granted by the Village
  • Approved a request from Pastor Matheny to take his vacation from June 21 –June 26
  • Approved a request from AJ Schroeder to take her vacation from June 27 –July 2
  • Approved a request from Alisha Lawson and Mike Baackes to use the church sanctuary for their wedding ceremony on July 10, 2010 at 3:00 pm
  • Approved a request from Kristine Sterr and Kurt Wilcox to use the church sanctuary for their wedding rehearsal on October 22, 2010 at 6:00pm, and their wedding ceremony on October 23, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
