Council Highlights for June 2010

Present: Karen Becker, Cherie Bersch, Eric Hillstrom, Bob Lehmann, Pastor Matheny, Jay Schaetzel, Mary Ann Toth, and Dick Wallander

Absent: Mike Szymik and Mary Johnson

At its monthly meeting held on June 10th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Approved a request from the Maintenance Committee to purchase a replacement furnace with a cost not to exceed $2,000.00.
  • Finalized a letter to the congregation requesting a special donation for several maintenance-related items.
  • Gave the go-ahead for Mary Johnson to negotiate an agreement with Roundy’s to continue our coupon fund-raiser this summer.
