Council Highlights for June 2007

Present: Cherie Bersch, Mary Johnson, Bob Lehmann, Kevin Elinski, Pastor Matheny, Mike Szymik, Mary Ann Toth and Dick Wallander

Absent:Betty Parker, Matt Lison

At its monthly meeting held on June 7th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Reviewed and discussed the Treasurer’s Report which shows St. John $14,000 in arrears
  • Scheduled a special congregational meeting for Sunday June 24th immediately after the worship service to discuss our financial plight and approve recommended roof repairs
  • Approved the Women’s Guild Bingo Bash for August 22nd at noon

The next meeting of the Church Council is scheduled for July 12th at 7:00 pm
