Council Highlights for January 2012

Present: Eric Hillstrom, Cherie Bersch, Judy Luckow, Sharon Reeder, Jay Schaetzel, Pastor Matheny

Absent: Mary Ann Toth, Dick Wallander, Donna Tess, Karen Becker

At its monthly meeting held on January 12th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Approved the 2012 budget for final action by the congregation at the Annual Meeting
  • Appointed Dick Wallander, Mary Ann Toth, and Jay Schaetzel to serve as members of this year’s audit committee
  • Granted a request from Youth for Understanding to use the fellowship hall on Saturday, January 28th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for their meeting
  • Thanked Cherie Bersch and Mary Ann Toth for their years of dedicated service on the church council
