Council Highlights for January 2009

Present: Karen Becker, Cherie Bersch, Mary Johnson, Bob Lehmann, Matt Lison, Pastor Matheny, Jay Schaetzel, Mike Szymik, Mary Ann Toth and Dick Wallander

Absent: None

At its monthly meeting held on January 8th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Approved the recommended budget for 2009 to be acted upon at the Annual Meeting on January 25th
  • Appointed the Auditing Committee of Matt Lison, Mary Ann Toth and Dick Wallander (Chair)
  • Removed the following individuals from our membership roll: Linda Landers, Mike Landers, Kelly Page, Joseph Vanderschaegen, and Tracey Vanderschaegen
  • Set April 4th from 9:00 am to noon for the all-church clean-up
  • Thanked Matt Lison for six years of dedicated service as Council Deacon
