Council Highlights for January 2007

Present: Karen Becker, Mary Johnson, Bob Lehmann, Matt Lison, Pastor Matheny, Betty Parker, Mike Szymik, Eric Tess, and Mary Ann Toth

At its monthly meeting held on January 11th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Approved a recommended 2007 budget for the Annual Meeting
  • Approved recommended amendments to the Church and Cemetery Constitutions
  • Recommended Chris Pickett and Pam Frey as church elders
  • Set March 31st for a Committee Chairpersons meeting
  • Honored the requests from Mike & Beth Marks, and Paul & Sylvia Adair to withdraw their names from the membership rolls
  • Approved the use of the Fellowship Hall by Windsong Subdivision for January 30th from 7:00-8:30 pm
  • Approved the use of the Church Sanctuary by Michael Krull & Kelly Hauglie for March 24th from noon to 2:00 pm for a wedding
