At its monthly meeting held on February 8th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Appointed its officers for 2007. They are:
    Bob Lehmann - President
    Dick Wallander - Vice President
    Mary Ann Toth - Elder
    Mike Szymik - Treasurer
    Cherie Bersch - Financial Secretary
    Kevin Elinski - Trustee
    Mary Johnson - Recording Secretary
    Betty Parker - Corresponding Secretary
    Matt Lison - Deacon
  • Finalized the Lenten Service Scedule (see March edition of Heartbeat newsletter)
  • Rescheduled the March Council Meeting for March 1, 2007
  • Rescheduled the June Council Meeting for June 7, 2007
  • Approved a request from Mission Alive to initiate a "Singing Cans" fundraiser
  • Honored the requests from Don & Judi Ruben and Sue & Shannon Censky to withdraw their names from the membership rolls
  • Approved the use of the Fellowship Hal by Audrey Kirchhoff for May 5, 2007 from 11am to 6pm for an arts and crafts event
  • Approved the use of the Church Sanctuary by Melanie Dienhart and Jeremy Ehrgott for Sept 29, 2007 from 1pm to 4pm for a wedding
