Council Highlights for August 2009

At its monthly meeting held on August 13th, the St. John Church Council:

  • Met with the church council from Our Saviour’s UCC to discuss and reach a tentative agreement regarding the continuation of our joint Pastor-Sharing Agreement.
  • Passed a recommendation for the congregation to be acted upon at a special congregational meeting on August 16th to approve the tentative Pastor-Sharing Agreement with Our Saviour’s UCC.
  • Authorized expenditures up to $950 for the purchase of a new refrigerator/freezer for the church.
  • Approved a request from Girl Scout Troop 4215 to use our fellowship hall on the second and fourth Monday of each month during the school year from 7:00-8:30 pm for their meetings.
