A very special thank-you to Colleen Yaggie for serving as Heartbeat editor for the past several years. Colleen has stepped down from these responsibilities effective August 1st. We will miss her cheerful, efficient service in this stewardship to St. John. We are looking for a member who might be interested in volunteering to continue in this important ministry. Please contact Bob Lehmann if you think you might be able to serve as Heartbeat editor.
Also, as a result of action taken at a special congregational meeting on August 3rd, we will be hooking up to municipal water in early September at a cost of approximately $5,300. Because of this action, we will have almost depleted our Maintenance emergency fund. We would welcome any and all special donations to help replenish this fund.
Please come worship with us every chance you get. Our church is so empty without you.
