Council Highlights for April 2009

At its monthly meeting held on April 2nd, the St. John Church Council:
- Set May 31st as Confirmation Sunday
- Approved a request from Mission Alive for a church-wide mission trip to Cincinnati for urban outreach from July 12-18
- Set Sunday, July 19th at 6:00 pm for the annual Board of Deacons meeting
- Received confirmation from Pastor Matheny and Mary Johnson to attend the Southeast Association Annual Meeting in Waukesha on April 25th
- Acted on a request from Jim Hansen to become a member of St. John at a future worship service
- Approved the use of the Fellowship Hall by Youth for Understanding on Saturday, April 25th and Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm
